Our Academic Coaches come from many educational backgrounds.

We match clients with Academic Coaches based on academic subjects, interests, learning styles, and personal backgrounds.

Not only are our Academic Coaches proficient in an array of subject areas, but they also continue to learn the skills of an effective private educator.

We emphasize the importance of tools and techniques that will help our clients grow in understanding, mastery, and retention of academic content.

Email Communication with Academic Coaches

We require Academic Coaches to include parents in all electronic communication with students. We do ask parents to share an email address at which Academic Coaches can communicate with students and their parents.

Grades Served

We work with students in grades 6-12 and college students.

Group Sessions

Do you and your friends need a study session before the next exam? We can provide small group tutoring.

Individualized Sessions

All of our tutoring sessions are designed to meet the needs of the individual student. We make a point of learning as much as possible about the student and their academic background so that we can most effectively help that student “fill the gaps.”

We also pay attention to student learning styles so that our tutoring is most likely to assist the student to the greatest extent.

Location

The location of your tutoring session may be at a coffee shop, public library, or in your home. We work with families to determine the most convenient and most effective place to provide tutoring services to each student.

We are also happy to provide online tutoring services.

Preparation

Please bring your textbook(s), class notes, assigned homework, returned quizzes and tests, and laptop or tablet. Your Academic Coach may ask you to share electronic documents made available to you by your teacher.
